OVERVIEW
Creating intuitive digital experiences through thoughtful design, strategy, and usability.
UI/UX design brings together aesthetics, usability, and functionality to create digital experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and enjoyable to use. My process begins with understanding the target audience—their needs, behaviors, and pain points—before translating those insights into wireframes that establish the structure, content hierarchy, and navigation of a digital product.
From there, I use user testing and iterative design to identify opportunities for improvement, refine the experience, and resolve usability issues before launch. The result is a thoughtful balance of form and function, where visual design enhances the experience rather than getting in its way.
Below are a selection of UI/UX projects where I led the design process from research and wireframing through visual design and implementation.
SUMMARY
I designed OJP’s twice-monthly digital newsletter as an accessible and intuitive information experience—not simply an email template. With a wide range of content and audiences, the design focused on information architecture, visual hierarchy, easy scanning, and intuitive navigation. Jump links, clearly defined content sections, consistent UI patterns, and prominent calls to action helped users quickly find and engage with relevant information. I also collaborated with a web developer to translate the static UI into GovDelivery while maintaining the intended user experience and accessibility standards.
The newsletter gained 65,000 new subscribers within its first year, exceeding expectations and making it one of my favorite examples of design directly supporting audience engagement.

SUMMARY
The Vegan Cookbook is a conceptual digital platform designed to connect people through healthy, plant-based food. I envisioned an interactive online community where users could discover and share recipes, exchange cooking tips, and explore the benefits of a whole-food, plant-based lifestyle.
From the information architecture and user experience to the visual interface, I designed the platform to make recipe discovery and content sharing feel intuitive, engaging, and approachable. The project includes UI/UX design for both a responsive website and mobile app, with a cohesive design system that adapts across digital experiences.
